Privacy
Responsible for this website: Studio Huit, Lea Filipowicz, Jablonskistraße 21, 10405 Berlin, Germany, hi@huit.studio.
Hosting. This site runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, with EU data centres). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request to deliver the page and to protect against abuse. That is a legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR). Cloudflare is bound by the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Counting visits. We count page views ourselves, without cookies, fingerprints or user IDs. We store the page, the day, the website a visitor came from, the country and whether it was a phone or a desktop, each as a plain number. None of that can be traced to a person. If you choose “No counting” in the banner, nothing is counted in this browser.
Links in our social posts go through this website so we can see which post brought visitors. That records the post and the platform, not who clicked.
Fonts are served from this website, not from Google or any other third party.
Contact and project requests. When you send the form or an email, we store your name, email address and message to answer you and to prepare an offer (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR). We keep it as long as the conversation or the project runs, then as long as tax law requires for business correspondence.
Tool subscriptions. Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin). Stripe receives your name, email address and payment details; we never see the card number. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to that step.
Folio and Google Calendar. Folio is a private planning and bookkeeping app that Studio Huit runs for its own use. It is not offered to the public. If the owner connects a Google account, Folio reads that account’s calendars and events and can create or change events the owner asks for, for example time blocks for tasks. The connection token is stored encrypted on the owner’s own Cloudflare account. Events are loaded when the owner opens the app and are not copied anywhere else. Google user data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising and not used to train AI models. Folio’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by disconnecting the account in Folio.
Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, take it with you, or object, by writing to hi@huit.studio. You can complain to a data protection authority, in Berlin the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
